Hi! My name is Liz Owens. I started My Best Bud in 1997 after leaving my position at Universal City Walk as a buyer. I wanted to stay home with my 2 yr old daughter so I began to sew a hooded towel for her and before I knew it I had 12! Before I knew it, my business blossomed into a wholesale and retail home based business! I grew my business by adding to my product line useful, practical items that I used on my own kids (now 2 girls) incorporating Vintage and Vintage reproduction fabrics. I am a professed fabric junkie and can’t wait to see what I can make next.
